I mean, maintaining an email account is like maintaining a beard. You can let it go and not do anything do it if you want. But then it will become big and hairy!
My work email can easily become out of control with page after page of emails. It is important to clean house every now and then.
For this exercise, I edited my folders, cleaned out/moved emails in all folders, and cleaned out my address book. I realized while doing this exercise I had folders I no longer needed. In addition, I discovered some email messages were over 3 years old!
After weeding my emails and folders, my quota useage dropped to the lowest it's been in several months. Yay!
